Install instructions:

- Reboot to CWM

- if you are coming from other rom (full wipe): wipe /system, /cache, /data and Dalvik-cache

- upgrade: wipe /system

- install zip from SD-card, select MIUI-1.X.X-beta.zip

Was soll ich schreiben, das Ding war erst kurz draussen und in der Zeit war bei xda auch noch nix von Problemen zu lesen.
Ich habs selber noch net ausprobiert und deswegen habe ich "soweit" geschrieben. Vielleicht ist ja inzwischen schon wieder ein neues Problem aufgetaucht und ich habs net mitgekriegt. Kann ja sein.

Probier´s aus und sag doch bitte Bescheid ob alles funktioniert.

Ja, das war ein Bootloop.

Wenn das wieder mal vorkommt.

Ich mache beim Bootloop den Affengriff (3-Tasten) um in die Revovery zu kommen, funktioniert bei mir normal immer.
Einmal gings bis jetzt net und ich musste auch den Akku entfernen, aber an dem Bootloop war ich selber schuld. Apk´s verändert und da hat was net gepasst..

"Try4Ce" hat heute morgen bei xda mal die ersten Eindrücke der neuen 1.7.15 Rom zusammegefasst. (Danke Try4Ce)

- Battery Drain: I dont know what I did right, but the battery usage
here seems really really great. For example: I drive alot with my car,
having the Phone placed in a car holder, connected to my car stereo via

when I leave home or work. While it is playing, I leave my screen on as

screen on, music playing and enabled WiFi chip.

- Screen Resolution: On my side, it seems perfectly fit. Rounded
corners, everything centered. Thats on the default 1.7.15 Theme, no
customs. Maybe you guys with misaligned screens should try to re-apply
the default theme?

- Volume Controls: Here I noticed something odd - Ringtone Volume adjust
just fine, but Multimedia Volume is kinda messed up. After the 3rd or
4th volume level, it already reached the max volume. Everything after
that stays max volume. Doesnt happen with Ringtone, like I said.

- Proximity Sensor Issue: I had the screen stay black on first call as
well, and the Proximity Sensor was glowing red also. That was pretty
weird, never saw this before. But the already mentioned fix works
wonders. Just go to Settings -> Programs -> Phone and disable the
"enforce proximity" option.

- Light Sensor Issue: After first boot, the automatic display brightness
didnt work. I had a look into the automatic brightness level settings
and noticed that the light sensor always showed "-1" ... therefore, the
display stayed at lowest brightness settings. After a reboot, everything
worked out just fine.

- Haptic Feedback: Same here as everybody else seems to have issue wise.
After reboot, haptic feedback works allright, but after some screen off
- screen on sessions, the vibration reduces bit by bit, until its
barely noticeable anymore. I have the impression that the vibration isnt
at 100%, but gets recognized as 100% and reduces by a percentage
everytime the device comes out of deep sleep. But that is only my wild
thinking.

- Stuck on Boot Animation / Boot Screen: Never had that issue. Went into
CW Recovery, wiped every partition manually (cache, data, system,
dalvic and then data/factory reset just to be sure) and flashed right
away. Boot was perfectly fine.

- Compass: Same issue here. Compass is acting weird, doesnt show the
right direction. It even rotates in the opposite direction when I rotate
the phone. For example: I go clockwise, the compass goes in the
opposite. Weird stuff.

- MIUI Music Player: Crashes quite often while staying within the player
to browse the songs. Its not a force close, it just exists to the home
screen, the icon of playback stays in the top bar, but sound stopped. to
get the now playing in the statusbar out, I always have to press play
again and then pause/stop ...

Other players like PlayerPro or the new Android Music Player from Google
work just fine, so I guess it has something to do with the MIUI Music
App itself.

But in general, MIUI already seems pretty mature. It runs very well in
total and is (well at least for me) perfectly usable for daily use.

Hab ich bei Xda gerade auch noch gelesen.

Es gibt im Market die App "Absolute System Root Tools " mit der gehts auf jeden Fall. (Gerade getestet :))
Allerdings ist die nicht umsonst.
