Vor ein paar Tagen wurde eine inoffizielle MIUI v5, auf Basis von Android 4.4.2, für das Mi2/Mi2A/Mi2S durch ein Forenmitglied bei en.miui.com veröffentlicht.
Die ROM soll in etwa identisch mit der neuen Version für das Mi3 sein und befindet sich aber noch im Teststadium. Daher sollten es erfahrene Benutzer in erster Linie mal testen.
Für diese ROM wird das CWM (ClockworkMod) Recovery für das Mi2 / Mi2A / Mi2S benötigt. Die Installation funktioniert nicht mi dem Mi-Recovery !

Known Bugs:
1. Some users encounter malfunctioning cloud services such as Find Device
2. Lack of dolby effect
3. Cannot read numbers stored in SIM card
4. Some users encounter malfunctioning Data Usage
5. Bugs exist in personal use version might exist in this version too
6. Please provide feedback if you find more bugs.
For 2A users, pleae reboot when you turn down NFC.
How to flash:
- Enter Recovery
- wipe data/factory reset
- install zip
- choose zip from /sdcard
- choose the ROM pack you downloaded
- Reboot after flashing is completed
How to enable dual boot:
- Enter Advanced menu
- Select current system to choose the system you want to use
- Select Do you want to enable dual boot to enable dual boot
